Go Forth and Nominate…



It's Cybils time! Nominations open today, and you (yes, you) are invited (and encouraged) to go to the site and nominate your favorite 2009 books. They must be children's and young adult books. They must be published between October 16, 2008 and October 15, 2009. In the past, the nominations have been in the comments. Well, no more! This year there is an awesome nominating form. So it's easier than ever to nominate your favorite books. There are nine categories in all:

Easy Readers/Short Chapter Books
Fantasy/Science Fiction (split between elementary/middle & teen)
Fiction Picture Books
Graphic Novels (split between elementary/middle & teen)
Middle Grade Fiction
Nonfiction (Middle Grade/Young Adult)
Nonfiction Picture Books
Poetry
Young Adult Fiction
